Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to conduct discreet enquiry on the issuance of G.O (Standing ) No. 338 dated 10.09.2009 which is contravening to the G.O. ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) This petition is utterly misconceived and there can be no element of public interest in the matter sought to be espoused.
2. It is also of significance that the petitioner has failed in his individual litigation to successfully establish his rights. The petitioner indicates that a review petition is pending.
3. In such circumstances, it is completely unacceptable that the petitioner would attempt to reagitate the matter by way of a public interest litigation.
4. W.P.No.17649 of 2021 is dismissed with costs assessed at Rs.1,000/- to be paid to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, within a month from date. W.M.P.Nos.18804, 18807, 18811 and 18813 of 2021 are closed.
