Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling upon the production of the records relating to the preliminary order dated 08.04.2003 and final award dated 01.12.2004 made in I.D.No.305 of 1992 passed by the first respondent herein, quash the same and direct the second respondent herein to reinstate the petitioner with full backwages, continuity of service and other attendant benefits.

Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing on either side filed a joint memo dated 09.04.2018 which reads as follows:

"Both parties to this litigation have arrived at a settlement. The petitioner has agreed to accept the order of dismissal and the respondent has agreed to pay Rs.62,000/- to the petitioner. The receipt executed by the petitioner is attached to their Joint Memo.
