ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to FIR in Cr.No.53 of 2007 on the file of the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Vellore and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent/ State.

3. On the complaint lodged by one Krishnamoorthy, the first respondent police have registered a case in Cr.No.53 of 2007 for the offences under Sections 465, 467, 469 and 471 of I.P.C. against G.Vinayagam, challenging which, G.Vinayagam is before this Court.

4. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner died on 11.06.2016, that apart the first respondent police has also completed the investigation in Cr.No.53 of 2007 and the same was closed in RCS.No.156/2003 and closure report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Vellore, who has also accepted the same on 24.07.2016.
