This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent for transfer of patta from the name of petitioner's mother name to the name of the petitioner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the originally, the land belongs to his mother one Ranga, wife of Manicka Naidu and she has executed a settlement deed in favour of the petitioner and registered the same on 04.02.2013. Based on the above settlement deed, the petitioner said to have filed an application before the respondent seeking for transfer of patta on 07.01.2014 in favour of the petitioner, but, that application https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
was not so far considered by the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner.
3. On considering the fact that petitioner's application is pending before the respondent for several years and the limited prayer sought by the petitioner in the present Writ Petition, without going into the merits of the case, the respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. With the above said direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
