Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to call for the records pertaining to the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.1132 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram and quash the same insofar as the charge against the petitioner/2nd accused is concerned.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.1132 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram, having been taken cognizance for the offences punishable under Sections 380, 467, 468, 471 read with 34 of IPC.

2. It is seen that when the matter was posted on 05.06.2014 "For Admission", the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner took an adjournment and the matter was adjourned after one week. Thereafter, for the past four years, the learned counsel has not taken any steps to list the matter. It shows that the petitioner has no interest to pursue the matter. Further it is pending for more than four years without even ordering notice. Now after the lapse of four years period, this petition cannot be considered and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
