O R D E R

The petitioner has sought a mandamus directing the Commissioner, Pollachi Municipality/R2 to consider representation dated 20.07.2020 and dispose the same.

2. The representation has been sent in response to a notice dated 04.12.2017 issued by the Commissioner, Pollachi Municipality stated to have been received by the petitioner only on 01.03.2020. The notice raises a demand of property tax in regard to property at 9A, Krishnasamy Chettiar Street, Pollachi.

2. Today Mr.B.Anand, learned Standing Counsel who has entered appearance for R2 would state that the representation has been disposed on 18.11.2020 adverse to the petitioner and a copy of the order has been served on the petitioner, which has been duly received and acknowledged on 24.11.2020. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. In the light of the same, the mandamus sought for stands achieved and nothing further survives in this writ petition. Liberty is available to the petitioner to challenge order dated 18.11.2020 in accordance with law.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed. No costs.
