The instant writ petition has been filed with a prayer for issuing a Mandamus directing the respondents to forthwith disburse the entire amounts towards payment of EPF, gratuity and terminal leave salary accord with all other benefits to the petitioner herein with 12% interest within a time frame stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's father, viz., Ramanathan died while serving in the third respondent Corporation after serving for more than 30 years. For the past two years, the respondents have not paid the retirement benefits. Hence, the petitioner has sent a representation dated 17.12.2024, which is pending before the respondents.

At this juncture, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent would submit that the third respondent is the appropriate authority to consider the petitioner's representation. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the third respondent would submit that the petitioner's representation is under process, and he would fairly submit that they would consider the representation of the petitioner within a reasonable time.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the first and respondent and the learned Special Government Pleader for the third respondent and perused the materials available on record.

In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 17.12.2024 made by the petitioner, and pass orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
