Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 3rd respondent for further investigation in Crime No.412 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent for further investigation in Crime No.412 of 2018 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that

the investigation is almost completed and yet to file final Report. He further submitted that there are seven cases pending against the accused person.

4. This Court by order dated 08.02.2021, directed the second respondent to monitor the investigation conducted by the third respondent and to ensure that effective steps are taken by the third respondent to find the whereabouts of the accused person and secure him. In pursuant to the said direction, the third respondent has conducted a detailed investigation and filed a status Report before this Court.

5. On a perusal of the status report, reveals that they are about to complete the investigation though failed to secure the accused.

6. Considering the above facts, this Court directs the third respondent to complete the investigation and file a final Report within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The second respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the third respondent and shall ensure that the direction given by this Court is complied by the third respondent.

7. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
