A.No.2458 of 2020 in C.S.No.642 of 2019 A.No.2458 of 2020 in C.S.No.642 of 2019 C.V.KARTHIKEYAN J, This application has been filed by the plaintiff under Order VI Rule 17 of CPC read with relevant provisions of Original Side Rules seeking to amend the short cause title and long cause title of the plaint.

2. It is stated that the affidavit filed in support of the said application that one of the present Directors of the first defendant's company may be named as representing the first defendant's company. It is to be noted that the first defendant's company Sabari Inn Limited is shown as being represented by its Managing Director K.R.V.Ramani. In the present application, it is stated that it should also been mentioned that the first defendant's company is now represented by the Director Venkatraman Kannan.

4. It is stated that by the said amendment, there can be no shift in the cause of action or there can be no material alterations with respect to the averments made in the plaint.

5. In view of these facts, the application is allowed and the short cause title and the long cause title and also statements of addresses under Order VI Rule 14A of CPC may be accordingly amended as stated in the Judges Summons.

6. Registry may carry out the necessary amendment and the learned counsel for the plaintiff may also file the amended plaint copy incorporating the amendment.

7. List the matter once again on 01.12.2020.
