This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to register an FIR on the complaint dated 28.04.2015, given by the petitioner.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that, on the complaint given by the victim Muthulingam, a regular case in Crime No.275 of 2016 has been registered on 22.08.2016 for the offences under Sections 279, 337 IPC.
