When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the issue has been settled between the parties in the year 2017 itself and the first respondent has been reinstated into service. He would further submit that as per the order of this Court dated 22.11.2016, the petitioner has also deposited the entire backwages to the credit of I.D.No.244 of 2015 on the file of the 1st Additional Labour Court, Chennai, vide Demand Draft bearing No.007329 dated 06.01.2017 and a photocopy of the same has also been produced before this Court. He has also made an endorsement to that effect. Hence, no further order is required to be passed in the Writ Petition.

2. Recording the said submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
