O R D E R

The prayer sought for in the Writ Petition is to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No. 156/2013, dated 27.02.2014 and quash the same.

2. Brief facts of the case is that the petitioner took lease for shop no.7 in the commercial building belonging to the respondent Panchayat and running the said shop from the year 2004 by periodically renewing the shop once in three years. For extention of renewal for the said shop from 30.09.2013, the petitioner made request to the respondent, but the respondent has rejected the request made by the petitioner and passed order vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.292/2007, dated 29.08.2013 . Challenging the same, the present writ petition is filed.

3. No representation on behalf of the petitioner. Heard Mr.D.Suryanarayanan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent and perused the documents available on record. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. On a perusal of records, it reveals that as per the notification published by the respondent Panchayat, the period for lease was granted only up to 31.03.2015. In view of the fact that the period of extention sought for by the petitioner was for three years from the year 2013 and the lease was granted only upto 31.03.2015 as per the notification, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition as the period sought for by the petitioner has come to an end.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed as having became infructuous.

Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar ak To The Executive Officer, Muthur Town Panchayat, Muthur, Tiruppur District.
