This application has been filed to permit the plaintiffs to let in secondary evidence in respect of the allotment letter issued by the Tamil Nadu Slum Clearance Board in favour of the mother of the applicants in the year 1995.
2. The applicants are the plaintiffs. Counter of the respondent not filed.
3. The learned counsel for the applicants / plaintiffs submitted that the original allotment letter was misplaced and it is untraceable. It is further submitted that a copy of the allotment letter has already been filed along with the plaint and it is one of the important documents to be produced on the side of the plaintiffs to prove their case.
4. Taking into consideration of the reasons stated by the applicants and due to non-availability of the original allotment letter, the applicants / plaintiffs are permitted to mark the secondary evidence as prayed.
5. Accordingly, this application is allowed.
