PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to direct the 2nd respondent herein to conduct proper investigation by recording properly the statement of the Petitioner/De-facto Complainant and file Final Report in Crime No.97/2021 pending on the file of the 2nd respondent before the concerned jurisdiction Court within the time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent police to complete the investigation pending in the Crime No.97 of 2021 dated 22.04.2021.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing on behalf of the respondent police.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the above said crime number on 22.04.2021, no final report is filed till date.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent Police would submit that the respondent police may be permitted to file a final report within a period of three months.

5. In view of the above, the 2nd respondent police is directed to either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
