This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation and to file the final report in Crime No.95 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent submitted that a case in Crime No.95 of 2016 has been registered and is being investigated by the respondent police.
