This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation dated 31.03.2015 and issue the Legal Heir Certificate to the petitioner.

ORDER

The petitioner, being the granddaughter of the deceased late A.Arumugam, sought for a Legal Heir Certificate from the respondent by making a representation on 31.03.2015. As the same has not been considered till now, the present writ petition is filed by the petitioner before this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondent.

3. Considering the facts and without going into the merits of the case and taking note of the pendency of the representation of the petitioner dated 31.03.2015, a direction is hereby issued to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 31.03.2015, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, after affording an https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as third parties, if any. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
