This petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the learned XVII Metropolitan Magistrate at Saidapet to conduct the trial and make the accused 1 and 2 to deposit their passport in Court.

2. The relief sought for by the petitioner can not be granted by this Court, as it is not within the jurisdiction of this Magistrate to direct the accused to deposit their passport,in view of the specific provisions under the Pass-port Act.
