The revision petitioner is the plaintiff in O.S.No.3431 of 2020 on the file of the VI Additional City Civil Court, Chennai, who now seeks expeditious disposal of the said suit which is pending for about five years.
2. Considering the nature of relief sought for by the petitioner in the present revision petition, notice to the respondents is dispensed with.
3. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and I have also gone through the materials placed before this Court.
4. The major grievance of the petitioner/plaintiff is that though the pleadings are completed, the trial has not yet commenced and the said suit is kept pending for the past five years.
5. Considering the fact that the revision petitioner is the plaintiff and she seeks speedy disposal of her suit in O.S.No.3431 of 2020 filed for declaration, partition and injunction, I am inclined to entertain Page No.2 of 4
this Civil Revision petition. Accordingly, this Civil revision petition stands disposed of with a direction to the VI Additional City Civil Court, Chennai to expedite the trial in O.S.No.3431 of 2020 and dispose of the said suit on merits and in accordance with law on or before 31.01.2026. No costs.
