ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.Sundar, J.) This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to mandamus respondent i.e, Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai to consider and pass orders on the application dated 16.12.2016 filed by the petitioner.

2. It is the say of the writ petitioner that the writ petitioner has submitted an application being application dated 16.12.2016 to the respondent before us i.e., Commissioner, Corporation of Chennai seeking licence for erection of advertisement hoardings.

3. The prayer in the writ petition is for a simple https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

mandamus to consider and pass orders on the application of the petitioner dated 16.12.2016 seeking hoarding licence with regard to 52 hoardings pending with the respondent. To be noted, application dated 16.12.2016 is for 54 hoardings and with regard to 2 hoardings rejection order have been passed on 08.03.2017.

4. Mr.K.Soundararajan, learned standing counsel accepts notice on behalf of sole respondent.

5. Learned standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that the application of the writ petitioner is under active consideration of the respondent and he submits on instructions that it would be disposed of within ten (10) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The above submission is recorded.

7. In the light of the above submission being recorded, no further orders are required in this writ petition and the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
