ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.246 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent to the second respondent merely on the ground that the police is not arresting A1.

2. Mr.Leonard Arul Joseph Selvam, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondents would submit that FIR has been registered only on 15.04.2022 and A1 is still at large. He would further submit that they are taking every efforts to expedite the investigation.

4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (crl.side) for the respondents.

5. In such view of the matter, mere allegation that the respondent police is not arresting the first accused immediately cannot be a ground to transfer the investigation. However, the first respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation. The investigation shall be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore.
