Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 01.04.2024 for compassionate appointment.

ORDER

The petitioner has made an application seeking compassionate appointment as per the scheme in the third and fourth respondents' Co-Operative Society. Since there was no response, he has made a representation to the second respondent, namely, the Deputy Registrar of Co-Operative Societies, Dharmapuri District.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, Mrs.P.Vijaya Devi, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for respondents 1 and 2, would submit that the said representation dated 01.04.2024 will be taken up for consideration in accordance with law.

3. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of with directions to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.04.2024 and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
