O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this Criminal Original Petition seeking for a direction directing the respondents to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 4.1.2016 to the respondent and investigate the same and file final report.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint before the 2nd respondent on 4.1.2016 as against one Raja, Khader Basha and Dr. Sumathy stating that he borrowed Rs.25,00,000/- from the said Raja and for that, he gave power of attorney in respect of his property measuring 2.95 acres situate at Siddhar kovil in favour of said Raja. The said Raja, in collusion with said Khadar Basha, with an ill intention to grab the property, created a forged life certificate by impersonation with the help of the said Dr. Sumathy and sold the above said property valuing 5 crores by creating forged sale deed . Though the complaint was lodged as early as on 4.1.2016, no action was taken till date. Hence the petitioner is before this court.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.

4. From the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner dated 4.1.2016 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating commission of any cognizable offence, he is directed to proceed further in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
