ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to quash the Impugned Proceedings dated 07.11.2020 made in Pa.Mu.16592/2019/J2 on the file of the first respondent and consequently direct the first Respondent to rectify the error occurred under the UDR Scheme.

2. Heard Mr.R.Rajarajan, learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, Mr.M.Nirmalkumar, learned Government Advocate [Pondy] appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

3. When the Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that 2/5

the appropriate authority to consider grant of patta is the Director of Survey and Land records and he has not been made as a party in this Writ Petition. Hence, submitted that this Writ Petition is not maintainable.

4. In such view of the matter, let the petitioner make appropriate application to the authorities concerned for grant of patta.
