Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, praying for a direction upon the learned Subordinate Judge, Madurantakam to dispose of the Suit in O.S.No.50 of 2004, on merits within a time that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the first respondent, who is stated to be the contesting respondent in O.S.No.50 of 2004, on the file of the Sub Court, Madurantakam.

The suit in question was instituted by the petitioner, praying for a decree of divorce. According to the petitioner, the suit has been delayed unnecessarily, at the instance of the respondents. The petitioner, therefore, seeks a direction to the trial Court for early disposal of the Civil Suit.

The learned Subordinate Judge, Madurantakam, is directed to dispose of the Suit in O.S.No.50 of 2004, as expeditiously as possible, and in any case, on or before 31 March, 2017.

The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
