It is represented by Mr.R.Udhayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader that the Deputy Collector will ensure that a sum of Rs.25,000/- imposed as costs to be paid to the parents of the recent sexual assault victim of Ayanavaram, Chennai will be paid very soon.

Notwithstanding the fact that it is brought to the notice of this Court that SLP(C) No.009801-/2018 is pending on the file of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India, considering the fact that there is no stay in the subject matter in issue, it is abundantly made quite clear by this Court that there is no impediment for the authorities to proceed in accordance with the orders dated 20.02.2018 passed by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.No.29991 of 2017.

2. For reporting the action taken by the authorities concerned, the matter is adjourned to 17.12.2018 at 02:15pm.
