O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to execute the work order dated 21.07.2020 and for providing water connection to the property belonging to the petitioner.

2. Mr,E.Bala Murugan, learned Special Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents, based on the instructions received from the second respondent submitted that the service connection will be effected within the time https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ Page numbers

fixed by this Court subject to the necessary payments to be made by the petitioner for carrying out the works.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that already the petitioner has made the payments and for one reason or the other, the work gets postponed and as a result of the same, the petitioner is not able to get the water connection for the property.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the specific stand taken by the learned Special Government Pleader, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to execute the work order dated 21.07.2020 and provide the water connection to the property of the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
