ORDER

This petition has been filed to extend the order dated 13.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.290 of 2025 by a weeks.

2. The petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.290 of 2025 with one of the condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees One Lakh only) to the credit of Crime 1/4

No.352 of 2014 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of that order. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner was unable to get the certified copy of the order dated 13.02.2025, hence, he filed a petition seeking extension of time and two weeks extension was granted and the same was posted for compliance on 15.04.2025. Further, the copy application towards the extension order dated 15.04.2025 has also not been received till date. Hence, the petitioner was unable to comply with the conditions and execute the sureties. He further submits that now, the petitioner is ready to deposit the amount to the credit of crime number.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent police submitted that sufficient time was granted to the petitioner to comply with the condition and nearly after five months, the present petition has been filed.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, submission made by the learned counsel on either sides, the Trial Court is directed to receive a sum of Rs.1,00,000/- (rupees one lakh only) which shall be deposited by the petitioner to the credit of Crime. No.352 of 2024. The petitioner shall deposit the said amount and produce the proof of payment before the learned Magistrate concerned at the time of executing the sureties. The learned concerned magistrate shall deposit the same in the interest bearing fixed 2/4

deposit scheme in any one of the nationalised banks. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
