Crl.M.P.No.7500 of 2019 in HCP No.2979 of 2018 M.M.SUNDRESH and M.NIRMAL KUMAR This petition is filed, seeking further extension of parole period to the petitioner's father Abraham @ Rajasekaran, 72 years, S/o James David, Convict No.16844 IP No.51122, Central Prison, Cuddalore. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court, by Order dated 18.03.2019, granted parole to the petitioner for a period of three months commencing from 20.03.2019 to 19.06.2019. He also submits that his father/convict, has been undergoing rigorous treatment for all his ailments and though after constant treatment, his father's health condition has worsened and therefore, seeks further extension of parole period for three months. 3.

We put a query to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who, on instructions, submits that there is no improvement in the health condition of the convict, which is continued to be serious and life threatening.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we are inclined to extend the parole period granted to the petitioner's father from 20.03.2019 to 19.06.2019, for a further period of eight weeks, commencing from 19.06.2019.
