This Writ Petition has been filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations, dated 12.01.2013 and 15.11.2013.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the increments to the Non-Executive Cadre are on percentage basis, but, the increments to the Executive Cadre are on fixed and notional basis and hence, the person employed in Non-Executive Cadre is getting more pay than the petitioner, who is employed in the Executive Cadre. Seeking pay protection, the petitioner has given representations to the respondent, on 12.01.2013 and 15.11.2013. But, till date, there was no response. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Mr.S.Sivashanmugam, the learned counsel for the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the respondent is directed to consider and dispose of the representations of the petitioner, dated 12.01.2013 and 15.11.2013, in accordance with law.

4. When the matter is taken up, there is no representation for the respondent. Considering the limited scope of the prayer, this Court, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, directs the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner, dated 12.01.2013 and 15.11.2013, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim made by the petitioner.

5. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. There shall be no order as to costs.
