The instant writ petition has been filed seeking the relief of writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 14.03.2024 made by the petitioner seeking fixation of inter- se seniority among the Direct Recruitees , Promotees and Transferees in the Post of District Educational officer (DEO) for the promotional Post of Chief Educational Officer (CEO).
2. Heard the learned counsel for both sides and perused the materials available on record.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that there is no inter se seniority among the persons appointed in the three methods. It is also the grievance of the petitioner that the High School Headmasters, who are in lower cader are being treated equally with the Higher Secondary School Headmasters, while considering the post of DEO. The learned counsel for the 2/4
petitioner would also submit that in order to resolve the anomaly, they have sent a representation on 14.03.2024 to the respondents and the same has not been considered by them.
4. The learned Special Government Pleader would submit that they are in receipt of the representation dated 14.03.2024 and they would shortly consider the representation and pass orders.

Though there is a disputed fact between the parties, taking into consideration of the fact that the petitioner has come up with the limited prayer with a direction against the respondents to consider his representation, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to consider the representation dated 14.03.2024 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three (3) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. There shall be no order as to costs. 02.06.2025 kmi Index : Yes /No Speaking order : Yes/No 3/4
