Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking for an issuance of writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned Letter No.2671/SE1-1/2023-4, dated 18.12.2023 passed by the 1st respondent, quash the same and consequently direct the 1st respondent to place the Higher Secondary School Head Masters which is the highest post in School Education in Tamil Nadu as the sole feeder category for the post of District Educational Officer and pass any such further orders.

ORDER

The writ petition has been filed challenging the letter dated 18.12.2023 issued by the first respondent to place the Higher Secondary School Head Masters which is the highest post in School Education in Tamil Nadu as the sole feeder category for the post of District Educational Officer. Mr.S.Mythreye Chandru, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

After arguing sometimes, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners has prayed to withdraw the present writ petition with liberty to file a comprehensive writ petition challenging the rules. He has also made an endorsement to that effect in the Court bundle. 4.

In the result, the Writ Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn granting liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh comprehensive writ petition. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 02.06.2025 veda Index:Yes/No Speaking order/Non-speaking order To 1.
