This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.4846 of 2014.
2. A case has been registered against the petitioner by the respondent police for offences under Sections 406 and 420 IPC and it is a case of job racketeering.
3. The learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Egmore, while granting anticipatory bail, has imposed a condition that the petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- into the Court in C.C.D Account and shall report before the respondent daily at 10.00 a.m and 05.00 pm until further orders.
4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the condition imposed by the learned Magistrate directing the petitioner to deposit a sum of Rs.2,00,000/- is onerous and the petitioner is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
unable to comply with the said condition and hence, the said condition may be modified.
5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that the total amount involved in this case is more than Rs.45 Lakhs and thus, he opposed for the modification of the conditions.
6. Considering the submissions made on either side, I am of the opinion that the conditions imposed by the Magistrate is very reasonable and hence, I am not inclined to modify the said condition.
