ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the FIR in Crime No.234 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police registered for the offences under Sections 465, 466, 468 r/w Sections 471, 420, 354, 506(i) of IPC.

2. It is seen that when the matter was posted on 10.03.2014 "For Admission", the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners took an adjournment and the matter was adjourned to 17.03.2014. Thereafter, for the past five years, the learned counsel has not taken any steps to list the matter. It shows that the petitioners have no interest to pursue the matter. Further it is pending for more than five years without even ordering notice. Now after the lapse of five years period, this petition cannot be considered and this Court is not inclined to entertain this petition.

3. In view of the above, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
