Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 6th respondent to take suitable action against the respondents 7 & 8 for having violated the bar Council of India Rules by carrying on business during their current practice with the Bar Council of Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R. MAHADEVAN, J) The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 6th respondent to take suitable action against the respondents 7 & 8 for having violated the Bar Council of India Rules by carrying on business of transport of ash generated by the North Chennai Thermal Power Station, with the respondents 1 to 5 during their practice as legal practitioners.

2.Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the sixth respondent, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner against the respondents 7 and 8, enquiry was completed and hence, nothing survives for adjudication herein. 3.The aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel for the sixth respondent has been agreed upon by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.Recording the submissions made by the learned counsel for both sides, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
