Respondents This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to issue the Other Backward Class community certificate to the petitioner.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by SATISH K. AGNIHOTRI, J.) The instant writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the third respondent/ Tahsildar, Taluk Office, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Puducherry, to issue Other Backward Class Community certificate to the petitioner.

Pursuant to the notice of this Court dated 02 November, 2015, the third respondent has filed a counter affidavit stating that no application for issuance of requisite social status certificate has been made by the petitioner. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 and 3.

Learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submits that in the event, an application, in proper format, along with relevant documents is made, appropriate orders will be passed within a period of six weeks. 5.

In view of the foregoing, the petitioner is granted liberty to make an application afresh, within a period of one week and thereafter, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks. 6.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
