The Petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition praying for passing of an order by this Court in directing the 1st Respondent/District Collector, Thiruvallur District, to take action to remove the encroachment made by the 4th Respondent, blocking the water course channel running in Survey No.155, Mullai Nagar Village limit, Thiruvallur District, within the time to be stipulated by this Court.

Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, on behalf of Respondents 1 to 3, it is represented before this Court that the 4th Respondent had constructed the house by blocking the water course and the said encroachment was removed in the presence of Avadi Zonal Deputy Tahsildar with the Police protection of Assistant Commissioner, Avadi and Block Development Officer, Poonamallee.

Inasmuch as the encroachment made by the 4th Respondent was removed, nothing survives for any adjudication in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
