The Writ Petition has been filed for a direction to the Respondent to grant 'Freedom Fighters' Central Pension in favour of the Petitioner with effect from the year 1974. 2.
Mr.A. Kumaraguru, learned Central Government Standing Counsel appearing for the Respondent submits that after filing of the Writ Petition, by Order dated 02.05.2013, a copy of which has been produced, the Petitioner has been sanctioned with Swatantrata Sainik Samman Pension to the Freedom Fighters and that she is receiving the eligible pension with effect from 20.03.1987 onwards. Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
