Respondent Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to release all consequential benefits due to the petitioner in the post of Executive engineer on par with Shri G.Ravichandran who is naturally junior to him in the post of Executive Engineer under the SVRS Scheme and further forebear the respondents from acting on the undertaking obtained from the petitioner.

ORDER
Seeking a direction to the respondent to release all consequential benefits due to the petitioner in the post of Executive Engineer on par with his junior by name G.Ravichandran under the SVRS Scheme and forbear the respondents from acting on the undertaking obtained from the petitioner, the present writ petition came to be filed before this Court.
2.Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner is no more and hence, the writ petition may be closed, with liberty to the legal heirs of the petitioner to approach the authority concerned for appropriate relief.
3.Granting such liberty, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
