This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 24.02.2026 of the petitioner to regularise the services of the petitioner with effect from his initial date of appointment in the Group D post on 06.09.2004 in the respondents establishment in which the petitioner is working with all consequential benefits of seniority, pay fixation, pensionary benefits etc., including continuity of service.

Order This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To direct the respondents herein to consider and pass orders on the representation dated 24.02.2026 of the petitioner to regularise the services of the petitioner with effect from his initial date of appointment in the Group D post on 06.09.2004 in the respondents establishment in which the petitioner is working with all consequential benefits of seniority, pay fixation, pensionary benefits etc., including continuity of service."

2. The petitioner was initially appointed as a part time Group D employee in the respondent department on 06.09.2004. Thereafter, he was converted as a full time employee with effect from 01.08.2005. The petitioner has rendered 21 years of unblemished service.

3. The case of the petitioner is that his services were not regularised and therefore he made a representation dated 24.02.2026, requesting respondents to regularise his services with effect from 06.09.2004.

However, no action has been taken and therefore the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the petitioner's representation dated 24.02.2026 has not been considered to date, a direction is issued to respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
