This Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to provide police protection to the petitioner based on the representation submitted by him on 15.04.2026.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for Government of Tamil Nadu (Crl.Side) appearing for the first respondent. Perused the materials available on record. 3.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the first respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner, after issuing notice to the petitioner and the respondents 2 to 4, and dispose of the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition (Criminal) stands disposed of. No costs.
