PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, directing the second respondent for "not to harass the petitioner" without proper any grounds against the petitioner.

ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents police not to harass the petitioner.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents.
3. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the petitioner is arrayed as A2 in this case. He is shown as absconding accused in PRC.No.22 of 2014 pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Gingee.

4. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.
5. Hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
