Respondents PRAYER : Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of certiorarified Mandamus to call for the records of the first respondent order dated 24.07.2008 bearing letter No. 16349/Ve ni 4/2007 - 4 and quash the same and direct the respondents to provide compassionate appointment in any of the available vacancy in the 3rd respondent department suitable for the petitioner. The prayer in the writ petition is to to call for the records of the first respondent order dated 24.07.2008 bearing letter No. 16349/Ve ni 4/2007 - 4 and quash the same and direct the respondents to provide compassionate appointment in any of the available vacancy in the 3rd respondent department suitable https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for the petitioner.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is no more and he has also made an endorsement to the effect;

"The petitioner has expired during the pendency of the writ petition and hence the writ has become infructuous."

3. In view of the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for consideration and no further adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition.
