ORDER
The prayer made in this writ petition is to issue a mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 4 from interfering or
demolishing the petitioner's house situated in Natham S.No.234/3, Aandimadam Village, Udaiyarpalayam Taluk, Ariyalur District, on the basis of his representation dated 24.07.2014. 2.According to the petitioner, he is running a small shop in the subject property and is regularly paying the taxes without any default. There are nearly 100 families living in that area. In the year 2005, the respondents 3 and 4 were taking steps to issue patta to all the individuals and they called them to submit the required documents. Accordingly, the petitioner and his neighbours appeared and produced the relevant documents. While so, on 23.07.2014, without issuing any notice, the respondents 3 and 4 came to the locality, where the petitioner is residing and tried to dispossess all the people and demolish their houses. Hence, the petitioner made representation dated 24.07.2014 to the respondents not to interfere with his peaceful possession and enjoyment of the property. Finding no response on the said representation, the petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the aforesaid relief.
3.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and also perused the documents enclosed in the typed set of papers.
4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2014, if not considered earlier and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
