This petition is filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to give permission to conduct the cultural programme in the event of function at Sri Periya Mariamman Temple on 11.11.2015 at Mallasamudram Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District.

ORDER

Heard Mr.R.Jayaprakash, the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Subbiah, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent and with the consent of either side, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to give permission to conduct the cultural programme in the event of the function organized in the temple at Sri Periya Mariamman Temple, on https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

11.11.2015, Mallasamudram Village, Tiruchengode Taluk, Namakkal District by considering the representation.

3.This Court is not inclined to grant any positive direction in this regard, since granting such permission for conducting a cultural programme may result in a law and order situation and it is for the law enforcing agency to take note of the ground realities and act accordingly. Hence, without granting the relief sought for by the petitioner, there will be a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation on merits and in accordance with law, well before the date of programme.
