Mr.R.Muthukumar, Government Advocate C O M M O N O R D E R Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mr.R.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the respondent and with their consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.The writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the respondent to receive the application FORM CCPA dated 30-09-2015 together with prescribed fees and grant the Maxi Cab permit in respect of the vehicle No. TN.54-J-9925 forthwith.

3. The petitioner has applied for issue of Maxi Cab Permit on purchasing Eicher Cowl Chassis bearing Engine No.E 483 CDEG https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

653195 Chassis No.M.C.211 CRFOEG 299188. It is the contention of the petitioner that though the application dated 30.09.2105 was received and the respondent assigned TN-54-J-9925, the same was not considered and orders passed either granting the permit or rejecting the same. But, till date, there is no response. Hence, the petitioner has approached this Court.

Without going into the merits of the case, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent to receive and consider the application of the petitioner for issuing Maxi Cab Permit and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
