ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner or her family in the guise of enquiry.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is being harassed by the respondent police in the name of enquiry.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a man missing case has been registered in Crime No.175 of 2019 and the same is pending investigation. In the meantime, certain complaints have come before the police to the effect that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's husband has collected certain monies and has not repaid back. Therefore, the respondent police have called the petitioner for an enquiry. The learned counsel further submitted that there is no complaint or petition pending as against this petitioner.

4. If the respondent police wants to call for an enquiry, the summons may be issued to the petitioner and she shall cooperate with the enquiry. It is made clear that the petitioner shall not be harassed in the name of enquiry.

5. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
