This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey and subdivide the lands in Survey No.660/5A1 in the Edanganasalai Village, Salem District and issue patta after sub division to the petitioners, pursuant to the application dated 22.09.2020, within a time frame stipulated by this Hon'ble court.

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to act on the application submitted by the petitioner on 22.09.2020, wherein the petitioners have sought for conducting a survey in the subject property and for sub-division of the lands.

Mr.Annai Ezhil, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that the respondent has already fixed a date for enquiry on 23.11.2020 at 11 a.m. The https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned counsel submitted that the petitioners can be present at the time of enquiry along with all the relevant documents. 3.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and also of the fact that the respondent has already called the petitioner for enquiry, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the entire exercise within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
