The prayer in the present petition is to transfer the case from the inspector of police C-3, Manimangalam Police Station, to District Crime Branch, Kancheepuram (anti land grabbing special wing) pending investigation in crime no.85 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police.

2. Heard Mr.Arockia Velnakannistalin, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that there is no significant progress in the investigation and hence has sought for transfer the case in Crime No.85 of 2016 on the file of the C-3, Manimangalam Police Station, Sriperumpudur Taluk, Kancheepuram to District Crime Branch, I am of the view that the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

ends of justice would be met if respondent be directed to conduct the investigation under the supervision of his Superior Officer. Accordingly, there shall be a direction to the respondent to continue the investigation in Crime No.85 of 2016 and complete the same as expeditiously as possible. Such an investigation shall be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sriperumpudur on day to day basis.

4. With the above observations and directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
