The District Registrar(Administration) Myladuthurai Nagapattinam District ..Respondent Prayer:- Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the respondent herein culmintating in Na.Ka.No.1289/A4/2020 on the file of the respondent herein dated 02.09.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to enter Form No.VII dated 17.08.2020 submitted by the petitioner in the register maintained under The Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act, 1975 and the The Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Rules, 1978.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the respondent refusing to act upon Form VII that was submitted by the petitioner for registration.

2. A Division Bench of this Court in R.Muralidaran & Ors. Vs. The District Registrar and others reported in 2008 1 MLJ 1308, has held that against such an order, a writ petition cannot be maintained and the parties will have to work out their remedy before the competent Civil Court. The learned Counsel for the petitioner fairly brought this judgment to the notice of this Court in the course of his arguments.

3. Heard Mr.T.Pappaiah, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the judgment of the Division Bench of this Court, this Court cannot entertain this writ petition. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to approach the appropriate Civil Court and work out his remedy in accordance with law.
