ORDER

This petition is filed seeking direction to the Special Court in the cadre of District Judge for Trail of cases under Scheduled Castes and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989), Tiruppur to consider the bail application filed by the petitioner on his surrender in connection with Crime No.0117 of 2026 dated.27.03.2026 on the file of the respondent on the same day.

2. Considering the submissions and on perusal of the materials it is seen that the petitioner's brother who has been arrayed as A1 had a love affair with the de facto complainant and later refused to marry her. When the de facto complainant came to the house of the petitioner demanding justice, the petitioner is said to have abused her in filthy language by using her caste name.

3. In view of the above factual position, there shall be a direction to the Special Court in the cadre of District Judge for Trail of cases under Scheduled Castes and Schedule Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities Act, 1989), Tiruppur, to

consider the petitioner's bail application, preferably on the same day of his surrender, in connection with Crime No.0117 of 2026 on the file of the second respondent Police and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity to the victims under Section 15-A of the SC/ST (POA) Act, 1989. The petitioner shall surrender before the jurisdictional Court concerned within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
